Also the plot is significantly darker than previous LucasArts adventures, murder, deception, and whatnot. The other games had a more ridiculous/silly nature to them, while Full Throttle is more grounded in realism and more clever, due largely to the dialogue. There is a good deal of humor in the game, but it's not a "comedy" like Day of the Tentacle or Monkey Island. The dialogue and voice-overs are top-notch, which is what really gives the game its charm. It has one of the best protagonists I've ever seen. Like most of the old ScummVM games, it oozes personality. The "puzzles" are much more down to Earth than -say- Monkey Island. It's pretty short, but other than that it's incredible. ![]()
